If you feel like a slave to your thoughts, welcome. You came to the right place.

If you feel like a slave to your body, welcome. You also came to the right place

The body and mind are so intricately interconnected. When you lose mobility in one, you become rigid and stagnant in the other.

You’re here because you’re ready to change.

Because you’re all too familiar with the voice of your inner critic, judgment, and negative thinking. Because you know what the problem is, but you’re still stuck. You’re fully aware that something’s gotta give, but you can’t seem to pull yourself out. You’re here to rewrite that programming.

I see you. And I’ve been there.

When I was a child, I remember vividly being hit by waves of depression. At the time I didn’t have the vocabulary to articulate exactly what I was feeling and often found myself confused and frustrated at my inability to feel good. When I was finally able to voice my melancholy as a teenager, I was told that my family had a long history of depression and half jokingly, that we were “just long term sufferers”. (Insert face palm here).

Resilience was foreign to me. I chalked my unhappiness up to simply being the way things are and the way I am.

At 17, I found myself so miserable and desperate for a way out, I finished high school early and moved to New York City in pursuit of joy and levity.

Enter Ishta Yoga.

It wasn’t until I found a style of yoga rooted in science that I found my way out. With the guidance of Alan Finger, Sarah Finger, and my mentor Mona Anand, I began to teach yoga and meditation and was eventually pushed to pursue a degree in Neuroscience in Los Angeles.

Learning about neuroplasticity is what allowed me to see my own capacity for change.

Yoga and meditation gave me the practical tools to take action.

And my hope is that by marrying the two, I can offer you more of an opportunity to see the reality of your own evolving nature.

Depression isn't something I identify myself with anymore.

And when I do feel like I’m falling into melancholy, I bounce back faster and faster every time.

Since then I’ve lead workshops, retreats, and teacher trainings in California and around the world. Through group and one-on-one classes I’ve helped thousands of people free their bodies of tension and pain, reclaim their minds, cultivate the awareness to choose a new reality in every moment.

It’s time to have more fun: to let go of the seriousness and live playfully and joyfully with the RESILIENCE to overcome every adversity that gets thrown your way.

What a relief and privilege that you don't have to be the same person tomorrow that you are today.

Change is not always easy. But it's always worth it.

I’m here to support you every step of the way.
